Biography
Jake "ferris" Taylor is a coder and musician in the popular demoscene group logicoma, where he focuses primarily on creating 64-kilobyte demos targeting modern PC hardware, and the custom tools used to make them. He's particularly interested in real-time graphics and audio rendering, data compression (including, but not limited to, procedural content generation), and hardware architecture.
When he's not working on his next demoscene release, Jake spends time tinkering with FPGAs, writing oldschool video game console emulators, or shaving cycles in the latest Zachlike. He works at Ascenium, a semiconductor company pioneering a new class of general purpose processor.
