Dr Wade Marynowsky is an artist, academic and researcher working across digital media, including robotics, immersive and interactive performance / installation, music and video.

His main body of research explores the notion of robotic performance agency by challenging traditional notions of classical spectatorship and performance. Through the use of humour, irony and a host of unnerving thematics he addresses important issues relevant to our ever increasing technological society.

Dr Marynowsky has exhibited nationally and internationally since 1998, with his work being presented in major festivals, biennales and survey exhibitions around the world. He is also a lecturer in Interactive Design, School of Computer Science, Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, University of Technology Sydney.
